Police are reminding the public about the dangers of jumping into harbours after an incident on Sunday.
The Southern Neighbourhood Policing Team says a man jumped into the water in Castletown yesterday afternoon.
However, the water wasn't as deep as he'd thought - and he had to be rescued and taken to hospital for a chipped shin bone, and broken and dislocated foot.
Officers say you shouldn't take chances when it comes to the sea.
