A Douglas man has appeared in court charged with rape.
He can't be named after Tynwald passed laws earlier this year protecting the identities of alleged sex offenders.
He's said to have carried out the attack on a former partner on January 21.
The case was adjourned until September 19, and he was bailed until that date.
