A 30-year-old man from St Johns is appearing in court today charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
It’s after a fatal road traffic collision on the Tholt-y-Will road on Saturday in which a female pedestrian was killed.
She died at the scene following the incident which happened at 4.50pm and involved a dark blue Ford Focus car.
The man has been charged with a number of offences – a second man who was also arrested has been bailed pending further enquiries.
Police say they will not be releasing the name of the man or the victim at this time.
