An Onchan man will be sentenced in September after being found with ‘a lump’ of cannabis in his car.
21-year-old John William Kelly, of Lhon Vane Close, appeared at Douglas Courthouse on Thursday.
He admitted possessing the Class B substance - the court heard police had stopped him on Christian Road in Douglas on Wednesday afternoon.
Kelly’s advocate said his client had actually been attending at Motiv8 before officers searched his vehicle adding: "It’s clear he does need to address his cannabis use."
A social enquiry report was requested before Kelly is sentenced on September 6th - bail was granted.
