A motorist was found slumped over the wheel in the centre of Douglas in the early hours of the morning.
29 year old Richard George Edward Radcliffe of School Lane in Santon appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood at Douglas Courthouse.
He admitted being drunk in charge of a Ford Fiesta at Quine's Corner in Douglas on September 21 - a member of the public spotted him shortly before 2am and rang police.
Radcliffe was fined £675, given 10 penalty points and ordered to pay £125 prosecution costs.
