A Peel man has been fined for parking his overweight motorhome outside his house.
52-year- old John Patrick O'Brien, of North View, admitted three offences of permitting the vehicle to wait in a restricted area via Coroner's Admission.
Magistrates at Douglas Courthouse were told the motorhome was contravening overnight and weekend regulations due to its weight when it was left in January and February.
In mitigation O'Brien told the court that both batteries on the vehicle had died and he'd had no money to replace them adding "I'm very sorry for any inconvenience".
He was fined £225 and ordered to pay court costs of £50
