A man who pushed a woman in a social club was given a beating outside by other customers, a court’s heard.
Ryan Eugene O’Kane of Fairfield Terrace in Douglas appeared before Deputy High Bailiff James Brooks at Douglas Courthouse.
The 37 year old pleaded guilty to a single charge of using threatening behaviour or language at the Pinewood in Pulrose on January 29.
Prosecutor Hazel Carroon told the hearing he’d been arguing with two women in the club, pushing one before he was asked to leave.
After a struggle with other punters, he was eventually ejected only to be set upon by customers and suffering a fractured eye.
Fining him £500, Mr Brooks told him drunken behaviour could easily get out of control.
O’Kane was also ordered to pay £125 costs.
