A man has received "stern words of advice" after being spotted on closed roads during Monday night's Supersport race.
Police had published a photograph of him in order to trace him and find out what happened following the incident on Bray Hill.
Witnesses have come forward to say he dropped a can onto the footpath, which then rolled onto the road.
The man made a split second decision to retrieve it before the competitors arrived on scene seconds later.
Police say a full investigation was conducted and advice was given by the Attorney General.
