A man has died following an incident last night where a car ended up in the River Sulby.
Emergency services were called to the Garey Ford in Lezayre at 11.30pm on Thursday.
The constabulary says the vehicle was found in the river on arrival and the driver - a 72-year-old man from the north of the Island - was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities added inquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.
