A man from England has died after being taken ill aboard the Ben-my-Chree yesterday.
The passenger fell ill on the vessels service from Heysham to Douglas on Monday afternoon (June 17) and a coastguard rescue helicopter was called in to assist staff with medical aid.
Police have now confirmed a 67-year-old man has died despite the efforts of staff and personnel.
Authorities added no further comment will be made at this time.
