A Douglas man’s appeared in court to deny eight charges arising from a crash in the capital in May.
Paul James Galbraith appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
The 24 year old denies driving without due care and attention, failing to report an accident, failing to produce his insurance, driving without insurance, failing to produce his driving licence, failing to change his car’s ownership details, and two counts of having faulty tyres.
It’s alleged Mr Galbraith crashed into a Jaguar and a VW Golf on Circular Road in Douglas on May 16 but drove off without leaving his details – officers are said to have later found him repairing damage to a vehicle in a lane behind Hillside Avenue.
He was granted technical bail and will next appear in court for a pre-trial review on January 28.
