A man who stole a trailer and offered to sell it breached his bail by refusing to cooperate with probation, a court’s heard.
Alexander Kennedy of Main Road in Colby appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
He denied breaching a bail condition ordering him to keep probation appointments after he was convicted of theft and fraud by false representation.
Kennedy stole the £9,000 trailer from Dalby in March and was found guilty of the offences after a trial.
The court heard he’d missed two probation appointments and refused to be interviewed during another.
Magistrates said they’d take no action over the breach and bailed him to appear again for sentencing on December 21.
