A man’s denied assaulting a 12 year old girl as well as damaging her mother’s iPhone.
John Francis Rory Stephens of the Ballacannell Estate in Laxey appeared before Deputy High Bailiff James Brooks at Douglas Courthouse.
The 37 year old pleaded not guilty to two counts of assault and one each of criminal damage and provoking behaviour.
The court heard Mr Stephens is said to have attacked a woman in a drunken rage, smashing her phone before assaulting the child.
He was bailed to live in Lord Street in Douglas in the sum of £500 on condition he doesn’t contact his alleged victims and is next due to appear on January 3.
