Man cut from car following single vehicle incident

A man has been taken to Nobles Hospital following a single vehicle road traffic collision this afternoon.

All emergency services were required to the scene just north of the Devil’s Elbow on the Peel to Kirk Michael coast road.

Upon arrival fire crews discovered a BMW X5 on its roof with its male occupant still trapped within the vehicle.

He was cut from the car and removed on a spinal board before being transferred to hospital by the waiting ambulance.

The condition of the casualty is not known at this time.
