Man charged with harassing Treasury Minister

Police have charged a man from Douglas with harassing the Island's Treasury Minister.

The 62-year-old will appear at Douglas Courthouse on March 8th in relation to an offence under the Harassment Act.

Officers say it follows extensive enquiries into allegations that threatening and abusive correspondence was being sent to Eddie Teare.
