Police have arrested a motorist who allegedly turned up at the Covid-19 swabbing centre in Douglas whilst drunk.
The constabulary says it received reports yesterday afternoon (March 23) of an individual who'd attended the testing facility at the TT Grandstand while apparently under the influence of alcohol.
Officers say the man left the area but was located a short distance away and arrested.
Authorities have confirmed the man has since been charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and will appear before Douglas Courthouse via videolink tomorrow morning.
