A Laxey man who was caught with 0.1 grams of cocaine will be sentenced next month.
Police stopped 20-year-old Daniel Maguire just before 1am on November 27th in Onchan - he matched the description of a missing person they were looking for.
He fled from them but tripped and fell over dropping the package of cocaine - it had a street value of between £5 and £7.
A subsequent search of his jacket revealed he was also carrying 0.5 grams of cannabis which was valued at £10.
At Douglas Courthouse earlier this week Maguire admitted unlawfully possessing both drugs - social enquiry reports have been requested before he's sentenced on June 14th.
