A man who bit, punched and kicked a shop manager who tried to stop him stealing alcohol has been remanded in custody.
37 year old David William Prescott, also known as Atkinson, of no fixed address appeared at Douglas Courthouse.
He admitted assault, theft, threatening behaviour and criminal damage at Ellan Vannin Fuels on Peel Road in Douglas on August 17.
The court heard he helped himself to a bottle of Apple Sourz, and punched the manager when he tried to stop him - the pair ended up wrestling on the ground.
Prescott will be sentenced on October 15.
