A man’s been banned from the roads after being caught drug-driving twice in three weeks.
Alexander Henderson of Moaney Quill Close in Laxey appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
At a previous hearing, the 22 year old admitted being in charge of a car while over the cannabis limit on January 22 and driving while over the drug limit on February 12.
The court heard during the first incident on the Creg ny Baa Back Road, he was just under twice the cannabis limit, while in February on Lakeside Road in Douglas he was just over twice the limit.
The court heard Henderson had been a daily drug user for some time but was ashamed of his actions.
He was ordered to do 120 hours of community service and banned from the roads for two years, as well as having to pay £250 costs.
