A man’s been remanded in custody as he awaits sentencing for spitting at police officers and possessing drugs.
Liam Luke Kaighin of no fixed abode appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The 23 year old has previously pleaded guilty to two assaults on police, one common assault and possessing diazepam on July 23.
All the offences arose after Kaighin was drunk and argued with an innocent stranger he accused of stealing his mobile phone.
Magistrates remanded him in custody and he’ll appear in court again on October 10.
