A Douglas man has appeared in court charged with a series of violent offences.
Shaun Bignell of Mona Street appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The 34-year-old hasn't yet entered pleas to causing grievous bodily harm, assault, a public order offence, resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer.
On May 7, he's alleged to have been fighting with a man and a woman in Parliament Street in Ramsey, before allegedly rugby tackling a police officer at Ramsey police station.
Bignell was remanded in custody until May 16.
