A man who was too drunk to stand up has been handed a conditional discharge.
32-year-old Connor Schofield Shearman of Westmoreland Road in Douglas appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
Police spoke to him as he sat on the pavement on Central Promenade in Douglas at 7.30 pm on June 12.
Officers arrested him over concerns for his safety after he couldn't speak or walk properly.
Appearing before magistrates, he admitted being drunk in public.
