A man found with £4 of cannabis has been fined by magistrates.
23 year old James Gibson Collinson of Eyreton Lea in Crosby pleaded guilty to possessing the class B drug and having no car tax.
Prosecutor Rachael Braidwood told the hearing Gibson had been stopped by police on January 24 in Heather Crescent in Pulrose.
When officers searched his BMW, they found 0.2 grammes of cannabis in a tobacco pouch.
Collinson, who had been referred to a drug agency by police in the past, told police he didn't know where the drugs had come from.
He was fined £100 for each offence and ordered to pay £50 costs.
