A man accused of stealing beer while on bail for other offences has been remanded in custody.
Kieran Cain of Victoria Road in Douglas appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The 24 year old is accused of stealing 12 bottles of lager from Tesco on Lake Road in Douglas on July 4.
He's also accused of possessing cannabis, being drunk in public, theft, and two counts each of assault and criminal damage in separate incidents.
Prosecutor Rebecca Cubbon told the court Cain walked into Tesco shortly before 2pm, picked up a box of beers and walked out without paying - he was arrested a short time later in Villiers Square.
A bail application was refused and Cain was remanded in custody until his next court appearance on July 13.
