A man accused of smuggling banned items into the Isle of Man prison will appear in court again later this month.
Dean Peter Barter, whose address was given as Jurby jail, is charged with six counts of attempting to introduce prohibited articles into prison.
All of the offences are said to have been committed on February 15 this year.
There was no bail application and the 42 year old was remanded in custody to appear in court again on July 23 for committal to the Court of General Gaol Delivery.
