A court's heard a man's accused of breaking a CCTV camera which caught him trying to burgle a petrol station.
Ryan Anthony David Langton of The Bretney in Jurby appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Christopher Arrowsmith at Douglas Courthouse.
He's charged with attempted burglary and criminal damage at the Spar filling station on Parliament Street in Ramsey on October 11 but hasn't yet entered any pleas.
Prosecutor Hazel Caroon told the hearing the 26 year old tried kicking down the back door, hurling his body at it and throwing a wooden pallet - but failed to get inside.
A bail application was refused and he was remanded in custody until his next appearance on November 9.
