A man accused of biting someone's ear off has been remanded in custody.
40 year old Gavin William Patterson of Taubman Terrace in Douglas appeared at Douglas courthouse charged with causing grievous bodily harm.
He's said to have carried out the attack in Glen Falcon Gardens in Douglas on June 8.
No plea has yet been entered and he's next due in court on August 27.
