A Douglas man accused of wrongly claiming more than £8,000 of benefits has appeared in court.
Wayne Peter Berry of Westminster Drive in Douglas didn’t enter a plea to making false representations to obtain benefits when he appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The court heard the 47 year old is alleged to have claimed £8,305 between April last year and February 2019.
Magistrates adjourned the hearing and Mr Berry will appear again on August 29.
