A Douglas man will stand trial after denying assaulting a police officer whilst drunk.
20-year-old Jordan Declan Caley, of Castlemona Avenue, appeared at Douglas Courthouse last week.
He entered not guilty pleas to offences of being drunk and disorderly, assaulting the male officer and resisting the officer in the execution of his duty.
It follows an alleged incident on Castlemona Avenue on January 19th.
A pre-trial review will take place on March 30th - he's been bailed in the meantime.
