A man who can't be legally identified has appeared in court charged with 30 sex offences involving children.
The Douglas man can't be named after Tynwald passed new laws to protect alleged sex offenders earlier this year.
He hasn't yet entered pleas to nine counts of possessing indecent images of children and 21 historical sexual offences.
A bail application was refused and he was remanded in custody until his next appearance on August 8.
