Ramsey Town Commissioners are asking residents in the town to help with bin collections due to coronavirus risks.
They're urging people to leave bins out at 6am on collection day with the lid firmly closed and handles facing outwards, trying to make sure they're regularly sanitised before and after collection.
For households who have tested positive for Covid or are symptomatic and waiting for test results, personal waste, such as used tissues, should be stored securely in disposable rubbish bags, placed into another bag and kept separate from other waste.
This should then be put aside for at least 72 hours before being put in your usual outside bin.
