A local charity is asking that netting or anti-bird wiring on buildings is regularly checked and maintained.
It comes as the Manx Wild Bird Aid rescued a sparrowhawk that had become tangled round the back of a Ramsey property.
The bird was cut free and released straight away, with an injured pigeon also found and taken in by the charity.
It's asked that netting and wiring is checked to avoid birds becoming trapped and dying from their injuries or starvation.
