Lumber profits to remain a mys-tree

The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture can't say how much income is made from exported lumber.

A Freedom of Information request asked about money earned from felled trees being shipped out of Ramsey and sold abroad.

In response, DEFA said it won't disclose the info because it's commercially sensitive.

It adds making the figures public would weaken its negotiating position when it comes to getting best value for money in future.
