The Post Office says the loss of work from Readers Digest will have a dramatic impact on profitability.
It was revealed earlier this week that 15 members of staff are facing redundancy from the Integrated Mailing Solutions division.
It’s because Reader’s Digest – who the post office do response handling and payment processing work for – has stopped some trading activities.
The Post Office says it highlights the difficulties businesses face in the economic climate and that it’s hopeful that some staff can be redeployed across other parts of the business.
