The closure of a highway in St Johns could be extended as work is needed to reinforce a bridge.
The Department of Infrastructure says the structure on Curragh Road over the River Neb needs strengthening before resurfacing across it can take place.
As a result, DOI officials say they'll apply to extend the road closure until May 15 as its expected the work to the road and walkways would then be finished by that date.
It's part of the long-term project to revamp the section of the highway between the Ballacraine traffic lights and the Western Civic Amenity Site.
