The Island's Treasury Minister says a long-term financial plan should curb overspending, after departments asked for an extra £46.7 million this year.
Earlier this week, Dr Alex Allinson revealed the Department of Health and Social Care needed £30 million on top of its budget because of rising wages and energy costs.
The Department of Education, Sport and Culture, Department of Infrastructure and Department of Home Affairs will also ask for more money during February's Tynwald sitting.
