A long-serving pooch for the Island's Search and Rescue team has died.
Star, who served for 11 years passed away yesterday with her handler by her side
The Search and Rescue Association took to social media to confirm the news.
The team says she saved countless lives - two of which were in her last 12 months of being on call.
They've described her as an 'incredible' search dog and are sending their thoughts to her handler - Jim and his family.
