The Lord Mayor of London has been visiting the Island this week.
Dr Andrew Parmley is currently on a tour of the North of England during Brexit negotiations.
He says the Crown Dependencies are important to the UK economy and shouldn't be overlooked.
He added the unity between the UK and the Island has stayed strong:
