Police are reminding people not to leave valuables in their cars - and to make sure they're locked.
The Eastern Neighbourhood Policing Team says it's received information suggesting opportunist thieves are targeting insecure vehicles.
Officers say people shouldn't leave valuable items in their cars, even for a short time, and should ensure they're locked.
They add those simple steps will greatly reduce your chance of being a victim of crime.
