Local salons axe gossip magazines

Some salons across the Island will no longer offer gossip magazines.

Salon 3 and Anna Lucia Hair Retreat have made the decision following the recent death of presenter Caroline Flack.

In a post on social media the businesses say magazines that promote a positive message - whether that be lifestyle, health or hair will now be in their place instead. 

Salon 3 has also decided to install a 'Reading Corner' where clients can donate books and read whilst getting their hair done.

Both companies have reiterated their doors are always open if anyone ever needs to talk.
