The Isle of Man now has its first ever British Trust for Ornithology Youth Representative.
Alex is now part of a network of reps who engage young people in their communities with nature and science, with a focus on birds.
She has spent the last year volunteering with several local wildlife charities and is keen to get more young people interested in it.
Alex is also involved with Manx BirdLife, volunteering her time, skills and creativity on different projects.
