Local man embarking on Romanian aid project

People on the Isle of Man are being asked to donate toiletries and children's clothes for a Romanian charity project.

James Vickers, the owner of local company Complete Construction, is driving four tons of aid 4,000 miles to Romania.

There, a group will build two houses for people without a home as well as giving out aid to those who struggle in temperatures of minus 35 degrees Fahrenheit in the winter months.

Anyone wishing to donate should contact Hands of Hope on 852358.
