Local kindergarten extends hours to take children before and after school

A local childcare provider has applied to extend its business to look after older children before and after school.

Grow & Thrive Kindergarten is based in Hutchinson Square, and currently looks after youngsters up to 5 years old.

They've now applied for additional use to offer childcare for infant and junior school children up to the age of 11. 

Owners say they'd offer care between 8-9am and form 3:30-6pm during the school term.

It's added that these children will not share space with the nursey children, whose care would not be affected by the changes.
