A local GP surgery says it's received abuse as patients struggle to reach them via telephone.
Ramsey Group Practice took to social media to address the 'ongoing issue', and says solutions are being discussed after feedback from patients.
It adds its generic email is monitored first thing in the morning, lunchtime and late afternoon, and you can use that option to cancel appointments.
However, the practice doesn't reply to emails as it's 'clinically unsafe.'
