A fundraising page has been set up to help buy a retired and disabled veteran a reclining chair.
Rick Waddleworth initially took to social media - in the hopes of making his retirement 'more comfortable'.
Rick asked if anyone had a 'nice leather electric reclining arm chair' and added he'd be willing to pay if needed.
Dozens of comments, offers and kind words soon flooded in - it wasn't long until a resident - Jack Corlett set up a Just Giving Page to help Rick out.
The initial target of £500 has already been smashed - however, Jack has added 'any left over money will be given to Rick as a little Christmas present.'
