A local charity is raising funds to help people in Syria and Turkey after two devastating earthquakes.
The 'Rotary Club of Rushen & Western Mann' says its continuing to support causes on and off island and through its partnership with Shelterbox.
'ShelterBox' - an international disaster relief charity - provides emergency shelter and other aid to families around the world who have lost their homes to disaster or conflict.
To help those in Turkey and Syria, the charity is sending an emergency response team to carry out crucial assessments and establish how we they can best help.
This could be sending tents and shelter kits, stoves, thermal blankets and clothing to keep people warm through the freezing winter nights.
The Rotary Club has donated nearly £600 - and is asking the public to consider helping those in need.
