A local charity has 'arrangements in place' to bring 30 homeless cats from Ukraine to the Island.
The Mann Cat Sanctuary has been speaking to organisations in Ukraine to help cats and dogs left behind admist the ongoing conflict.
Although the charity has made progress, it says there are 'serious problems' such as paper passports and lack of lab facilities in the country to enable the animals to travel.
As a result - 10 cats will initially be making their way to Manx shores.
