Onchan Commissioners have unveiled plans to improve a youth facility for the area.
The local authority has applied for planning permission for an extension to Kenyon's Cafe at the Hub on School Road in Onchan.
The board says the extra space would help improve arts and crafts sessions, group activities and workshops and provide quieter breakout areas.
And the commissioners add the changes would help the building cope with rising demand in future.
