Reptile mats have been installed across the Earystane windfarm site as part of ongoing surveys.
Manx Utilities says it's part of the environmental impact assessment for the proposed site.
The reptile mats will capture a range of locations where lizards might rest, including both sunny and more camouflaged spots.
Frog, bird and bat surveys are also taking place this spring.
