The Steam Packet Company says one of its sailings will set off an hour late today.
The Manannan was due to set off for Liverpool from Douglas at 10am.
However, the ferry firm now says she'll sail at 11am because of the poor weather forecast.
Passengers are being asked to check in no later than 10.15am.
